FAQs

How do I pay for items?

If you are from the UK you can pay by cash in person, personal cheque (please allow 7 working days for clearance) or by Paypal.

I can only accept Paypal for International orders.

Do you accept Instalments?

For items that are over £100 I will accept payment in instalments.
A non- returnable deposit of 30% is required to secure the item, with the remainder of the cost to be paid within 30 days, unless otherwise discussed. If the remainder of the cost isn’t paid within the specified time period (usually 30 days) the item will be again listed as available for sale.
I can only accept International payments through Paypal at the present, in British currency. UK customers may pay with Paypal or personal cheques.
Please e- mail me for more details on specific pieces.

How should my textiles be displayed and cared for?

Sometimes textiles pieces are framed with a protective window mount, some are stretched over canvases and some are backed with fabric. The information for each piece should tell you how it is presented.

Treat your textiles piece as a piece of art work, not a furnishing. Don't wash it. It’s possible that it could be dry-cleaned but I can’t really advise you on this. If the textiles piece/ wall hanging or figurine gets dusty give it a good shaking. It should be possible to spot clean with a damp cloth. If you want to avoid dust altogether it might be best to frame textiles pieces behind glass although this, of course, takes away the tactile nature of the piece.

The images on this website try to show the true likeness of the pieces but the methods involved in the textiles mean that they may look different in altered light conditions, often better.

This site is updated as regularly as possible but the artist cannot be held responsible if an item listed as for sale is already sold. Please e- mail for details on any of the pieces for sale.

What are the charges for shipping?

Currently I am not charging Shipping on retail orders unless otherwise stated.

However if you wish to have your package insured, which is recommended on the more expensive items, payment for shipping will be discussed at the time of the order.

How do you package your items?

I endeavour to make sure that the items I send out will arrive in an excellent condition, this usually means wrapping them tightly in bubble wrap or plastic to keep them dry.
Where possible I recycle packaging, if it is in an acceptable state, as I believe wholeheartedly in protecting this world for future generations.

How long will it be before I receive my items?

I try to ship out items ASAP. Usually this will be the day after your purchase or within three days. In the UK I send packages first class, international packages will be sent via Air Mail.
I will obtain a receipt/proof of postage.

What is your Returns policy?

I don’t currently accept returns on items unless they’ve been poorly misrepresented in my listings.
If you have a problem with your purchase please contact me via e-mail and I will work something out with you.
I cannot accept returns on the CDs.
