This piece features three bras that have been melted and distressed to reveal beautiful fragments of lace.
I thought about a few things when making this piece- feminism and bra burning, how frustrating it can be to find a proper fit, Polyanna and her grey underwear, identity issues etc.
When I studied costume I was very much interested in ideas about decay and wear on garments.
