This gorgeous non- figurative piece, entitled "Three Little Fishies", can be displayed the same as any other piece of art.

This was the first figurative piece I produced. I generally make abstract textiles pieces that rely more on emotion but I wanted to branch out into producing imagery. I love goldfish in particular and found some really gorgeous images I wanted to use. I'm currently working on a 3D structural bag based on the top fish so keep an eye out for that one if you're interested.

In this gorgeous and colourful piece I have used a range of different fabrics including silks, nets, organza, special papers, and threads in oranges, reds, blues, gold and white. The fabrics have been machine embroidered, layered, quilted, decorated with copper silver and teal 3D paint, melted glue gun and beaded with handmade polymer clay "scales" beads.
