11" tall and 14" wide at the base, the lining is lilac.
This bag has a celuloid purse frame. When I made this bag I was really looking for something that would fit the frame I had and this has turned out so much better than I had hoped. The textiles were based on an experiment I produced from a digital image (see here)
The main fabric of the bag is a dark brown suede which makes the bag very rigid and strong. The Peanut shapes have been formed from leather and strong papers and are trapped under a layer of sheer organza. As you can see an immense amount of machine embroidery has gone into making this texture.
